I saw this technique in a magazine and liked the look of it so I thought I would give it a go. Quite pleased with the results.
Ace swimming by the SP today – even gave a 13 year old a run for their money in the pool! Lovely afternoon catching up with a friend and her children this afternoon, can’t believe the summer holiday is almost over 😦
Fab trip to Ryton Pools today with a best friend and one of her SP’s. Really wish this dragonfly had been closer so I could have used my macro lens, but sadly it was not to be.

On to the evening and a delicious Tapas meal out in Warwick in Catalan. Gorgeous food, lovely setting and I can confirm that the Churros for pudding were yummy. The chorizo in red wine was possibly the best chorizo I have ever tasted!
Annual August Bank Holiday ritual with lovely friends/neighbours. For once the sun was shining down at the racecourse.
I even managed to have a winner, a rank outsider who almost didn’t finish it’s last race yet managed to lead from the off to win in style today – I think there was talk of some testing after the race…. who cares, I had my money!

Another busy day today, ordering and planning…….
For once it’s nice to have these weeds from next doors garden! There are loads of them coming through so I must remember to pick them and make them into a crumble or something!
Bubble fun in the garden on day 165, with the SP and a couple of friends. I tried to capture something different today, other than them actually blowing the bubbles.
I’m playing catch up with the blogs, so they will be short and sweet until I am back on track.

A quiet day today in terms of noise level in the house. However, lots of cheering this morning at some excellent GCSE results from the North East. So, so proud of my lovely niece.
Jobs done in town this morning, followed by an impromptu al fresco lunch with friends – the sandwich I had bought can wait until tomorrow.
Now to look forward to an evening with another friend and a few glasses of vino – not too many though as I have extra SP’S tomorrow to look after.

A surprise day out for the SP today – she had no idea where we were going until the last 30 seconds of the trip. Fab sunshine, fab family day out.

Not much to report today really, cleaning and sorting while the SP did another massive bike ride and some kayaking for good measure. Building up that stamina – she just needs to get up to speed (get it??) withe her running then we could enter her for a triathlon! (I know one of my potential audience could be her trainer).
Lovely slow cooked curry for tea, a quick tidy up so that at 8pm I can put my feet up ready for the marvel that is the Great British Bake Off! There goes my Tuesday nights for the foreseeable future!
Oh I really struggled today to get any inspiration for a photo. I had taken a completely different one, but then spotted how gorgeous the moon and the clouds looked later on while I was washing up so threw down the tea towel and picked up my camera instead.
